RCRC COVID-19 Webinars

The unprecedented challenges presented by the COVID-19 will both directly and indirectly affect this generation’s children. The economic consequences in the short and long-term will set back countless families who already may be struggling to make ends meet. These health and economic stressors also affect the systems which help raise, educate, and nurture our children. The RCRC Initiative aims to provide actionable information through a series of webinars directed to child-serving institutions, policymakers, and other child advocates to help inform response and recovery activities.

Children’s Health Fund Webinar Series

NCDP, in collaboration with Children’s Health Fund, has launched a new two-part webinar series titled Building Up Communities & Breaking the COVID-19 Divide geared toward health care providers and child-serving institutions. The COVID-19 pandemic, much like other disasters, exposes the systemic cracks of inequality and inequity in our communities which ultimately affect children and their future. This period of time should serve as an opportunity to further explore and proactively address these issues. Webinar participants will hear from leading experts who aim to provide practical tools, backed by evidence, to manage the unprecedented challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
